Indian women team won the gold medal for India and its the 11th gold medal for India in Asian Games.
Indian women kabbadi team played brilliantly in the final with Thailand's women kabbadi team.
India's women team was dominant from the beginning i.e. with the lead of 17-7 at the 1st half.
The second half was also with the lead and Indian women enjoyed pinning Thailand's women on ground again and again thereby winning the final by 28-14.
In the semifinal with Iranian women kabbadi team Indian women kabbadi team won by a close margin i.e. 23-22.
There was a time when score was equal at the end and in extra time India won and qualified for final,now won final also with brilliant performance.
